Tommy Morrison to me was always the guy who received 5-6 sound punches at the hands of one Ray Mercer after winning the first 4 rounds, but you cannot deny what has happened to him is sad and tragic in one.

Man i read about this dude Newell on Junkie a couple years back. Never seen him fight before watching this. How's he able to do that with one and a half arms is amazing, as I couldn't do what he does with 2.

@RogerGreenBr I think he's having too much fun destroying cans. Personally I think Munoz, Sonnen, Bisping or Palhares are great fights for him. But his short stature would put him at an immediate disadvantage.

I don't understand Bob Sapp. he was this massive behemoth who had the look that he might even scare a baby rottweiler. Except when the bell rang, he became this large baby afraid to throw punches or take them. It was weird.

I'll always remember this fight as it was what brought my my Sunday Junkie winning entry. I had told my friends after this fight that I was going to write about Overeem showing up and making a profound statement. Little did I know 2 years later he'd have a shot at being the best HW of all time.

Most ironic situation ever : Healy gets illegally kicked to the head and pummelled, but somehow comes back and takes control en route to a finish. Yet, Blanco gets the call to the UFC. Healy is 4-1 in Strikeforce and hasn't even gotten within a sniff of a title shot. Say what?

The Ultimate Warrior in WCW was such a bust. He came out the first week and there was a loud pop. This can't be more than a couple weeks after, and the crowd is DEAD when he comes out. Like nothing at all.

@ICKManny don't be so sure. Sonnen has nothing but a great wrestling base. With Lombard's Judo, he can defend that takedown. And Sonnen would be as good as dead. Lombard's KO power is scary for anybody.

As much as I think Vila is crap, I'll always give him respect for knocking this clown out.

This is going to be an exciting fight. Because where as Warren is a fighter that will like to push the pace with his takedowns, Curran is a fighter that waits for his opponent to make mistakes. I'm thinking Warren will make that mistake.

you know what I find funny about this? is that Chael Sonnen and "pummeled" anderson for 4 rounds...yet if you look at their faces, Sonnen looks like he got beat up more than Anderson. Anderson still looks fresh lol

You know, I remember watching WWF/E in the mid 90s....but the only time I can ever remember them wrestling in a dome, was in 92 in the Hoosier Dome. Don't get it twisted, though, Scott Hall wrestled in front of more people than I'll ever know in my life. Sad his life had to end up like it did.

You know, if it was anybody else but the Ultimate Warrior, I might be inclined to believe him. But the fact that all he's ever done is rub people the wrong way, to blaming others for his misfortunes and relatively short career in the ring, makes me thing otherwise.

I can't believe they screwed this up. Scot Steiner was tailor made to be a transitional champion until Goldberg debuted later in 2003, but because he wasn't a WWF guy, they went out of their way to bury him. Sucks too, Scotty was a serious wrestler.

@Iamrockstarvic already has. I remember watching an episode of WCW Thunder & after the program, they said he had a heart attack and it wasn't a stunt or part of the program.
