Rich Cronin, Bryan Adams, Chris Kirkpatrick and Jeff Timmons have something in common -- sheer talent and love of music.
They rose to fame during the 'boy band' generation of the mid nineties to early two thousands belonging to different bands. After a couple of years away from the limelight, they were brought together in a television reality produced for VH1 entitled: Mission: Man Band.
Shot late last year in Orlando, Florida, Chris Kirkpatrick, founding member of NSYNC acted as the gracious host for three weeks as the four men collaborated with Grammy winning music producer Bryan Michael-Cox and under the ball-busting manager, Kathie McNeil, of 10th Street Management NY/LA.
While most television reality show highlights "back stabbing and manipulating" between cast of characters for the prize money; MISSION: MAN BAND did not really have any "monetary" catch at the end only the affirmation that no matter what challenges they went thru or are going thru in their lives, love of music brings out the best in them.
Cox described it best, "For these men if they are starting to make records again, that means they did not fall off, they just STOP making records. And someone still wants to hear what they want to say."
