The Magnetic Island Nature Care Association. Established in 1997, largely to help create the Nelly Bay Habitat Reserve, MINCA has since broadened, strengthened and grown -- increasing its membership and collaborating with local, state and federal governments and with other community organisations in a variety of activities designed to protect and conserve the Island's World Heritage-listed environment.
