Hey guys, this is MIDImusicalKID (or Jayce in real-life)

I was born in Colorado and have always had a love of music. I started taking piano lessons at a young age, and have also experimented with lyric writing and some guitar instrumental stuff.

My father gave me a great computer program for recording MIDI data from my keyboard (all the songs you hear are me playing many parts on different tracks and channels) and with my equipment and inspiration, I have written these little songs. I of course plan to write more ;).
Recently, I have upgraded my recording studio to Pro Tools MP 9 with an M-Audio keystudio 49es as my controller :) It has treated me very well!

My username, MIDImusicalKID, was inspired by what I am and what I do; a kid who writes a lot of MIDI music (MIDI as in "Musical Instrument Digital Interface", as the instruments you hear are not 'real', but generated by a sound card. What I play on the keyboard is generated as different types of sounds.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy my works and feel free to comment and tell your friends or whatever ;)

Sincerely,
Jayce

Lol hey dude, song writing is speeding up a bit these days, it seems that I have to be in a certain mood in order to write good music. I've become fascinated with tritones recently, lol. Tritones have become my "go-to chords" in difficult situations where I compose myself into a musical corner and need to get back to the home key, or just need to spice up the song a little bit.

Excellent to hear you're going to string together a melody; backed up by your Elfman-esque choral prowess, it should sound brilliant!

Peace man.

You are a fantastic composer, but if you focused on inventing a memorable melody then I think you could be a really, really good composer. You've already got one in Port Phasmatys (the glockenspiel opening which totally reminds me of Harry Potter). If you ever get the spare time, make a fully fleshed out version of that melody and raise it to it's highest potential though wild chords and scales.

As for me, I haven't been composing lately because of creative dryness haha. All the songs I produce are either rowdy and patternized, or cliched and predictable. I am very envious of your ability to give a song magic, which is something I cannot achieve because of my current creative lock. But after hearing your music, I think I'll to write something out of the norm and experiment.
