You Tube Adds Captions!

You can turn on captions for our videos (not necessarily favorites) by finding the up arrow in the lower right hand corner. A box will appear and you can turn captions on and off.

My second video. Created at a train the trainer workshop from the Center for Digital Storytelling. Up with captions on Google Video now.  I kept is short in order to use my time at the workshop learning to train.

I have added captions to the video at overstream . net a free internet based captioning tool. I haven't been able to include the link in this comment however.

I am pleased to hear video presentations about disabilities. I am concerned about some access issues using this site for navigating links and flash content. And, in general would like to see options for captioning and audio discription on the YouTube site.

My first attempt at captioning is up. I am not entirely happy with this, but ran out of editing time. In order to add descriptive video, I think the video needs more pauses.

The Moment.. Video is my  first video ever. It was produced as part of the Center for Digital Storytelling's 3 day workshop January 16 - 19. I am now working to create a version with captions. I also hope to add descriptive video.
