Founded in 1999, MICR Write Technologies, Inc. is an application development company that specializes in secure MICR printing solutions, both centralized and remote, without proprietary engineering, or unnecessary "locked-in" printer modifications. Our corporate objective is to realize the maximum level of security for our clients without the requirement of long term contracts, or over priced MICR consumables that are essentially, rigged. In 2005, MWT transitioned to include manufacturing standard black and color toner products as well. We take pride in the fact that all our MICR Toner products are 100% manufactured in the United States, and contain a minimum of 30% post-consumer content. With our Cheque Guard MICR Encryption technology, MWT served as a principle contributor in the Consortium which developed Check 21 X.9 Standards, alongside Bank of America, Wachovia, Citibank, The Federal Reserve, and the Canadian Payment Association. This technology has forged the future for automated MICR processing, and will reduce check fraud, which indirectly impacts all MICR issuers, as well as consumers. The future is bright, and we are excited about vertical market opportunities to implement our MICR consumables, and technology designed to reduce consumer costs and liability, while increasing security for both consumer, and financial institutions world wide.
