The paparazzi, like GOSSIP rags, have long been the barrel of the loaded gun which eventually caused the events of 6/25/2009.
Celebrities are PEOPLE and should never be deprived of the ability to have access of care, same as any person not of celebrity status. It has long been the idea of 'free press' that allows the paparazzi to harass, slander and spread mis-information as they see fit; without proper verification of facts or want of feeling for your subject.
I suggest that gossip magazines and websites should be standing trial along with Murray.
Yes, Mr. Jackson faced addiction to pain killers and admitted so on National television - which is more than can be said for most addicts who live in complete denial. Yes, Mr. Jackson lived what most would consider, an eccentric lifestyle trying to reclaim a childhood he felt he had lost - if you had the money, you mean to say you would not splurge on those things which are dearest to you? Yes, Mr. Jackson was accused of horrible crimes - which he was tried and found NOT GUILTY by a jury of his peers. We do still live in the US where that is every citizen's right.. yes?
I always say to people - imagine for one moment, that everything you did, everything you said, everything you wore, you ate - 24 hours a day - 7 days a week - 365 days a year - - was being watched (or at least attempted to be watched). Put in the spotlight and judged.
How many 'eccentric' or questionable things could be said about you? How "wacko" would YOUR life seem to the World?
If you say nothing, then I suggest you either do not know yourself well enough - or you do not know people.
