About Audimax
Max Richter was born 1980 in Gießen, Germany. In the age of 8 he began learning the guitar with his teacher Michael Simon. In the years 2000-2005 he was studying with Prof. Michael Teuchert on the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. After that he continued his studies in Barcelona 2005-2006, where he studied with Prof. Àlex Garrobé. From 2006-2008 he completed his studies with Prof. Carlo Marchione in Maastricht (Netherlands). Since 2008 he teaches the guitar in Bochum. He plays together with the violinist Joanna Hermann in the "Duo Libert".
