I would like to add insight into the purpose fo the amendment to "ban gay marrage." That's not the case. The amendment would define marrage as a union between a man and a woman. The gay community could choose to join in a civil union. We don't want the definition of marrage to be defined as the court system would have it be. We the People rule this country.
