About Nisho
In the middle of insaneness.... the Revolution to bring back conscious Hip Hop is in full effect.
From NorthEast, DC.... Michael Drayton, better known by his alias, Nisho, began pursuing lyrics at his freshman year in HS (in 2005.) Not really becoming serious until around that time, he wrote lyrics and poetry. Recognizing that this was beginning to feel more natural to write, he then began finding and connecting wtih local artists to collaborate with including Random Genius and AL J. His debut mixtape, The Lost Cause dropped on April 23rd, 2010 with much of the production and recording done by DJ Vision of Black Magic. Showing versatility with written and freestyles, he constantly tries to find new limits with his words to reach out. His 2nd project, Underground Resident was released on Datpiff on June 3, 2011 with views still on the rise. Now apart of the up and coming group known as The Collective, he brings a different persona of schemes to the table and aims to bring an awareness of conscious hip hop back around.
