The University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) is a university academic center and non-profit consulting firm that works side-by-side with the nations top federal, state, and local emergency responders, assisting them in the development of plans, strategies, policies, regulations, and legislation to ensure the safety of our citizens in the event of man-made or natural catastrophic events.
The Center was founded and is directed by Michael Greenberger, JD, who also serves as a professor at the University of Maryland School of Law.
