This pushes NES to it`s absolute limits in graphics and sound, resulting problems on gameplay. Still it is nice to see NES actually achieving SNES --quality. As we know, it is best to keep platforms on market for so long they can do what their spects were made to do.

For those that feel game runs bad framerate on PC: Please, try to lower your own monitor resolution near to game`s own, and it should run faster...

If they needed to move the staff and technique of course they are in a lot of additionall work.

Great Job with Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero and fine pinata circus. But with this Kinect thing Rare can`t show their skills as motion eats power....

Castlevania and Sonic Adventure were really impressive on 3D -version also, i think, but then again everyone does have their own opionion about things...

@TailsSena Yes, PS1 had 2 MB for graphics, but it also had additional ram for sound. On N64 developers would decide how much (what ratio) use for video or audio.

Gaming scene needs Shenmue!

It is a shame, that when NTSC -version of the game runs 50 fps of less, they STILL lower the framerate for PAL -version. For example, if NTSC runs 30 fps, there should be no need to run PAL only 24 fps, since PAL can display 30 fps.

@Icolossu My point was: ICO would not even be made or released without Zelda -games. ICO is a great game, but Zelda is better. This is just my opinion.

This game had exelent boss -battles.

This was may be the technologically advanged game ever when it was released, but graphics don`t make game to be great on their own. Gameplay is also needed.

@lildecable Well, there are some N64 -games with facical animations and lip sync during speech, that PS1 can only dream on... -These include likes of Conkers Bad Fur Day and Turok 3: Shadow Of Oblivion...

This game truly looks awesome concedering how it was early N64 -game. Big, detailed, smooth, pop -up free levels were rarity during nineties 3D -games. @TheNinwii Well, some of those run on hi -resolution on beta, but final versions seems to have more texture details and better drawing distances, so may be they just changed their minds for going for little bit different looking final versions. N64 could likely run both incarnations.

@olfan92 Actually it`s over 20, but framerate needs to be constantly over 30 to look really smooth for human eye.

Dark Link kind of proves that there is no need for more powerfull A.I gaming machines than N64. -Gaming would just end up losing the battles and puzzles if more advanced...

Is some sort of jumping actually possible on Jap -version?

It is clear that 3DS is more powerfull than PS2. It is impossible however go with same current generation up with handhelds and home consoles, because technique gets a while in order to fit in to portable size.

It`s incredible to think that handheld -console can actually compete with home consoles, N64 -quality or better just ten years later on handheld rather than home, is awesome, but 3DS comes with even better deal and basically brings Wii and 3D for handheld!

Nintendo really should include this game with WII -console, to introduce all those Nintendo -characters for new customers...

@SamusDrake If you are interested Metroid -type of game, then you should perhaps try original Unreal for PC also...

@sandiskrules It apparently will work with Ultra HLE, but not very well. Buy N64 NTCS -version instead...

Hopefully Wii U will get a game where it is greatly possible to desing & create own levels and even playable characters...

@slightlyoutofreach01 Not true. N64 has 3D -card accelrate effects before PC... -I am not here to say that there is something wrong with PC when there is not. However, i feel that you too often need some sort of update in order to play newer or older games than your PC...

Jaguar is probably able to do that, concedering that SNES can run DKC.

@burritoboy726 Keep in mind that motion controls eat loads of power to work, -You don`t see much better graphics on XBOX 360 Kinect or PS3 Move, than WII. Many WII games look just as good as similar XBOX 360 or PS3 titles that use motion controls. WII is not as weak as you claim...

@HFLanciaStratos Techically speaking, WII can do more than XBOX and has loads of more RAM -memory than original XBOX.

@Cronus600Gaia It would likely take really much time & money to make in production, so they need to be certain it would sell well...

N64 -version runs 640*480 resolution, while playstation version is 320*240. N64 -version also has 3D accelrated graphics.

Seems to be running on actual 64DD in the matter of fact.

Great job. Let`s wish people would appreciate that we got Starfox Adventures. Who knows, Dinosaur Planet could have ended to be like Starfox 2 on snes.

All the best puzzles offer freedom to solve it indifferent ways. This clip is an exelent example how to harness playability creatively.
