In 1973, Al Browne sold the rights to this record to Vintage, with the group's name changed slightly to the Maldoneers. THE SELLING PRICE FORE THE MASTERS TO BOTH SIDES WAS $50. It was released on Vintage 1015.

One of the all time great street corner harmony groups. The Lytations/Contenders set a standard that few of their contemporaries or successors could equal. And, Jack Strong, is still at it in a way few can match.
