Lynda's Ladies was created in 2008 for the Boston 3-Day in honor of Jennifer's mother, Lynda. Together, Jennifer Hammel and Laura Hoffman raised $8,366 to aid in the fight against breast cancer. With your help, Lynda's Ladies achieved the honor of being the #8 fundraising team per capita for the Boston 3-Day.

In October 2009, Jennifer continued the team and set her goal for $1 higher than she raised in 2008, and raised even more! Total raised was $6,639 which made Lynda's Ladies the #4 fundraising team per capita in Washington DC.

In August 2010, Lynda will have 19 years of remission from this disease -- something that was thought impossible at the time of her diagnosis. To read about Lynda's story, visit Jennifer's personal page (http://bit.ly/jh2010).
