I am a die-hard boxing fan. Used to box for a couple of clubs in London and Nottingham. My passion derives from my grandad who was an amateur boxer in Ireland, in which he won 3 IABA titles at light-heavyweight. He represented Ireland also in America, Brazil and across Europe. Back in them days;the 1960s, the man was the only breadwinner and my grandad had to leave the sport he loved to support the family.

Many of my uncles also used to box in Ireland so you could say I come from a fighting background.

I believe I am a student of the sport, where i study different opponents and look carefully at the style match ups.

Boxing has been quoted famously as "the sweet science" and I second that notion and I am a great believer in the psychology aspect involved in the sport.
