After six years of great organ-keyboard festivals at Lyme Bay (East Devon), known as the Lyme Bay Keyboard Experience, the event is moving to Sand Bay at Weston-Super-Mare in North Somerset in 2009. The move is because Tesco Supermarkets have bought the Seaton site for development, much to the annoyance of local residents who bitterly opposed it.
The Sand Bay Leisure Resort belongs to the same holiday group - Hollybush Hotels under their new brand name of Martyn Leisure Breaks. The Sand Bay Keyboard Experience, as it will be called, will be run by Cled Griffin and his team of experts, known for making each event a happy experience with innovative and exclusive features.
The 2009 event will include some of the most popular players in the UK plus Andy Oakley with The Keyklix Klan, and will be supported by the most enthusiastic dealers in the UK with the latest products.
