About Me:
The first King of Portugal affirmed in document to be Brother of the Templars and the templar Gran Master Gualdim Paes was his Friend of Infancy. Together, the First King and the Order had established Portugal in 1128 and 1139 - MIRACLE OF OURIQUE.
The king also gives a mysterious seal to the Templars in Tomar:
The first royal seal of Afonso Henriques seems to hide a message intended for the templar knights. Indeed, it is noticed that the provision of the letters of the word Portugal can be broken up into Por Tuo Gral: From top to bottom, while following the vertical line of the cross, one can read POR. This word means FOR (or BY), in Portuguese. Then, in the higher part of the seal, three letters form the triangle TUO. The logical translation is YOUR, but why not THUOT (THôT), indeed, Portuguese grammar prohibited to place a H after one T or to put one T at the end of a word. Lastly, in the lower part, one can read GRAL, by including the R shifted. There still, the significance is double: it can be MORTAR (GRAL), the bowl which is used to crush ingredients, or the famous GRAIL, the CHALICE which collected the blood of Christ (GRAAL in Portuguese). They are both of the containers. Another more known seal of this king takes again the same cutting of the word PORTUGAL in three parts: POR TUO G[R]AL, always intersected by the famous templar cross - it is besides this seal which was selected to illustrate the coins of 1, 2 and 5 cents of euro of Portugal. Knowing the sharp taste of the Templar Knights for the codified messages, it is possible that king Alfonso Henriques has used this way to transform the name of his kingdom into a currency which was sacred for him: POR TUO GRAL! For your Grail!
