I don't mean to be a bastard, but those complaining about there only being 2 tri forces and still being called tri forces. Take a very close look at the shape of a tri force, and you'll see why they were originally called tri forces before they placed the 3rd tri force in the 2nd game.

@imgod22222 I believe there was some small story line in the book involving Link coming to Hyrule and being asked by the King to retrieve the pieces of the tri force to exchange for his daughter, but Link being a true villain breaks that deal by slaying the noble Ganon who was just trying to make...
