@LukyRemington Instead of cheap i should say inexpensive. Authentic Japanese nihonto are still way up in price, and i think they are priceless, cause you can't simply price out a work of art like that. It seems disrespectful to me. Nihonto deserve a lot of respect, as do the smiths that make them.

now this is up my alley. nice knife, and looks like its definately sharp enough for easy slicing, sounds like the onion is offering little resistance. i'm in the middle of culinary education, so i know the value of a good knife from experience, in the kitchen. an invaluable tool to any chef/cook.

the spin to noto, those are seamless transitions. very nicely executed. i'm not into any martial art (yet) but from what i saw, those transitions were quick, and near perfect.

just saying, beautiful rifle! and i've seen some not so nice sporterizing jobs, but this is actually a very tasteful, nice looking sporterizing job. still retains some of the essence of the old rifle (due to gorgeous wood stock) but looks good in its new role. kudos!
