I agree! I was the same, too, when this beta (the channel we currently have), was issued to replace our old one. I was pissed, I tell ya'! But now I prefer this over the old one, too! Its format is pretty well done.
But, yea, the new ones are cluttered and compacted! The YouTube officials are most likely thinking "Oh, they got over their hatred for the beta, they'll be fine this this, too!", but there's no comparison! This new one just.. isn't good.. You are exactly right.

And yea, I figured.. When YouTube updates, they update. No matter what your opinion is. Oh well, maybe they'll redeem this new channel design a bit more?
