About this user

I am currently a college student at a great university. My off time (when not in class or at work) is spent with my family, my dog or with a horse. Over the last 6 years, I have ridden over 70 different horses and have shown (and won!) in classes with three of them. I know, out of 70+ horses, only 3? But these horses were special and in each show, I participated in over 10 classes. I ride english and western, have driven horses and trained them, and even did some cross-country riding in southeast PA this summer (I saw Barbaro's house! Turns out that my friend is his neighbor!). Sting was my boy. He took me to a second place in the Nationals in Western Pleasure and a 4th place in barrels. He's a school pony with no professional training. June Bug was my girl who passed away last summer. She was 18 hands of pure power, being a Percheron/TB cross. For 6 years, she had been neglected, so I took her on. She was wild and out of control our first ride, but the day after, she behaved beautifully. Bug turned out to be a highly skilled dressage horse that I trained western before she died. (Great neck reiner!) She would follow me like a puppy and often refused to work under any other rider unless I was present.

In May of 2010, I adopted a Paint gelding named Hazard Two McCue, or Haze. I have never met a horse that has no vices until I met Haze. He's 7 years old with little training, but is learning fast and amazes me every day. He never spooks (just snorts a lot while thinking it through), is calm, follows me around everywhere, comes when I call him, and tries to make me happy every second of every day. A lot of people say, look how cool my horse is! She jumps, she does dressage, she was a trained gaming horse. Haze was none of those things. He can't walk over a jump, let along jump one, dressage is for horses who care, and gaming is just for fun. He's 14.2 hands of love and devotion. Seven guys, he's 7. He's learning at a rapid rate and proves to be an example to all the other horses at the barn. He doesn't bite, he doesn't kick, he has never bucked once. He is truly the worlds perfect horse and has the looks to match. His size may make people scoff, or his little pigeon-toed feet may make them laugh, but while your horse is bucking from a scary blade of grass, Haze is watching and laughing. He's the best horse a girl could have, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. (In a year or two, watch for us on the city streets! We're planning a downtown trip in the future!)

I have been to England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria and Italy. I have driven and flown down to FL. I am an open water certified scuba diver and have stayed under water for over 4 hours. Try and guess how. :)

I have an older brother that amazes me everyday. The boy is a saint and does everything he can for anyone he knows.

I love to draw and will frequently draw animals and people. My best pics are of horses of course. Photography is also another passion and I will snap photos and put them into a DVD any day of the week.
