Wow! Cherry Jones does an amazing Carol Channing imitation! Jones was 'Mame' in High School - prob she's had a lot of time to practice this.

Fantastic song for this video. Pres Taylor started out so happy. Those rottten Fox writers. It is as though they were determined to extract every last tear from Cherry Jones!

Ha.ha. "We are NOT the same," is one of Sister Aloysius's lines in Doubt. Cherry Jones might find the Jack Bauer version -- um, intriguing.. (How did this clip wind up in the Cherry Jones' section of YouTube anyway?)

Nice candid interview. In another YouTube clip, "Cherry Jones Backstage at the Tony's," CJ gives a more engaging answer to that old chestnut, “Why I must act.” (To bring new characters to life.) Her answer here restates,“There’s No Business Like Show Business.”
The Tony’s video also had so...

Not a good pic of Sally Hawkins but you do get a good look at Sarah Paulson in the background.. Why would Sarah Paulson wait out in the cold when she could just go backstage?
Also, not to be rude, but if I were an autograph hound, I would rather have Sarah Paulson's script rather than Sally's....

Guess what. That shadowy figure might be Sarah Paulson. Because if you go to the 'Sally Hawkins signing autographs video clip" (also for a 'Mrs Warren's Profession' performance) you can see Sarah Paulson in the background.

Well, we would have liked to have enjoyed a "Season 9" of '24,' starring Cherry Jones as President Taylor and featuring bits here and there of Jack Bauer, so this will have to tide us over till "the next big thing."

***LowerOrchestra is a handle to let everyone out there who would like to give me comps to their show, I do prefer Lower Orchestra seating.
However, the best event I ever saw I had Center Mezzanine (Thursday, October 2, 1975 at the Kennedy Center).....the ballet 'Giselle' with Baryshnikov as Albrecht and Gelsey Kirkland in the title role). (Student seats- -$5).
Many years later, I saw a Miami City Ballet production of Giselle at the Broward Center for the Performing arts with a front row center seat (Row H seat 110, because the first eight rows were put away for the orchestra pit.
Guess what: it was too close! I was so close I could see the inside seam of Albrecht's tights!....distracting...
So -- it is possible in some cases that you can be 'too close to the action' and lose your perspective.
Other than that..I am a big fan of actress Cherry Jones and if I could time travel, I would have liked to have had a front row center seat to see her in "The Heiress," circa 1995.
Disclosure: if I could actually time travel, in all honesty, my first priority would be to see Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison on opening night for "My Fair Lady" (March 1956)
And: Bernadette Peters in any performance of "Annie Get Your Gun."
Truthfully, .my first priority in Time Travel Preference is a historical event, not theatrical, and it is not "PC" at all, .so never mind.
I think I will stick with the answer....'my first priority would be to see Cherry Jones in the Heiress.....(but only if the tickets were comped and I did get front row, center.) Also, a 'meet and greet' with the artists.
Stop: every time travel movie/tv show I have ever seen has warned about the danger of 'going backward in time.' You could unknowingly warp the fabric of time.
Therefore I will concentrate on 'forward' time travel -.preferably with someone who has the clout (and money if necessary) to get those Primo seats. Since I just got a new Anna Netrebko CD...I would like a great seat (or any seat) to hear her LIVE. That would be awesome.
It's sad when a policeman doesn't know he can't just seize someone's camera. The right to be secure in our possessions is one of our 4th Amendment rights. No one can deprive us of our papers or belongings – and no police officer can arrest us, unless there is 'probable cause' to believe that a ...
