Low Vision Bureau is a concept created by a group of visually impaired people from various walks of life. Its goal is to serve the low vision community in the United States.

The purpose of this project is to raise awareness and to give the visually impaired community a forum to share experiences and discover new ones.

By "low vision" or "visually impaired" we mean people who are legally blind or have decreased vision from any cause. Visual impairment could be caused by many different things, including but not limited to: age related macular degeneration (AMD), retinitis pigmentosa (RP), diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, usher syndrome, or physical injury.

From this day forward, individuals with limited eyesight in the United States have a powerful voice. Low Vision Bureau is committed to help change how businesses and individuals "see us".
