Born in Concourse Village in the Bronx & raised in Rockland, NY, Louie P began listening to rap music when he was 7 years old an immediately took a liking to it. He began rapping at the age of 16, while attending Pomona middle school. He was influenced by artists such as 50 cent, Jay-Z, and names the late Tupac Shakur as his biggest influence of all. While attending Ramapo High School, Louie P recorded 6 low quality mix-tapes in his basement & passed them around creating a local buzz for himself. After getting tons of positive feedback from a variety of different people Louie P began to take rap more seriously hoping to make a future of it. In 2009 Louie P began doing local shows to showcase his talent, He then hooked up with a co-worker & childhood friend who became his video man & formed a team named HustleMusik Entertainment. Louie P also gained a lot of recognition when he released his track "New York" featuring Young Money artist Cory Gunz. To date, he has been featured on various sites, radio stations and magazines such as Datpiff.com, ThisIs50.com, Worldstarhiphop.com, HipHopgame.com, Uni-vs-all radio, & graced the cover of Streethemes Magazine. Louie P has even been played on Power 105.1 & In early 2011 his "Kingpin Dreams" cd was nominated for a Justos Mixtape Award for Street Album of the year. Louie P is currently working with his team and looking for a major label to sign a recording contract with and take the hip hop industry by storm.
