the loudest frewheel/freehubs I've ever heard were Campagnolos. I'm talking running while dragging a pipe against a chain-link fence loud. My Shimano Ultegra 6700 freehub on the other hand is super-silent, I can't even hear it while riding (or coasting).

thinking about getting a set of these, my other choice is Shimano's Ultegra 6700 wheelset. My only issue with the Ultegras, from my own experience, is that Shimano's freehub bodies tend to be slightly wobbly, which bugs the hell out of me, even though I can't tell a difference while riding.
