Meh, still not performance oriented enough for me. Commercials definitely over hype the performance of this car. Like most Hyundai/Kia's this one seems to be about the looks and trying to make you forget you are driving a car... :P

No, the it will be sold where ever Subaru sells as a SUBARU, and in the US there will be a Subaru version as well as a scion version. Rest of the world gets to choose Subaru or Toyota (badged as a Subaru and as a Toyota-not a Scion).

STi comes with a big spoiler on it anyways so switching it out for the wing doesn't really make a difference, it's just a personal choice (i would stick with the factory spoiler IMHO), and the carbon fiber hood and trunk give it a lower CoG and weight which help...

What about their quality is poor on the newer ones? The lowest they have ever been rated is average , other places have them listed at the top and just as reliable as toyota or honda (consumer reports). Hell the dealership i go to sells the 2011+ model year cars with a lifetime war...

google Edmunds.com 2011 impreza and click on the link and scroll down till you hit performance section and look for the 2011 WRX STI. Listed at 4.5 seconds to 60-and Edmunds is not very pro-subaru to begin with!

You are wrong.. there are several shots of this happening from several different angles! Even a rally news source has it listed on their top Rally jumps in RPM Ireland. It actually did happen.

@jstei95 still would be pretty bad for insurance... Insurance companies know the WRX and STI very well... i would look into getting an impreza 2.5RS-faster than the normal impreza and it comes practically ready to be turbocharged (need a turbo kit though).
