I had to add Steve Goodie version of "Black Water" because I live on the Florida west coast and have to watch the death of the Gulf of Mexico. Bp more than deserved his poke. I do not know if Steve is from the left or right but I do agree with his poke on PB since they did destroy a very beautiful natural resource, our beaches. Like Sagan said we have to care for the earth and it is Not a Throw away planet. Earth is our home and if we destroy it and our selves it will be the fault of human kind. This is a humorous way to deal with a VERY TRAGIC situation. If I were National Security BP would have to worry about more than jokes and boycotts!

Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors is very informative. Carl Sagan shows just how much like other animals we are especially those of the Primate category. Sagan uses actual observed facts by people who studied chimps in the wild as well as lab tests. Sagan adds modern findings to the already brilliant work done by Charles Darwin.
