At the peril of appearing to be pedantic I would like to promulgate three loosely interconnected points of view,
which characterize my approach to metal in particular, and other forms of art in general:
PERSPECTIVE I. | Moral directives tend to cloud artistic appreciation.
PERSPECTIVE II. | Denomination of genre can merely be indicative of deeper artistic aspirations.
PERSPECTIVE III. | Discrediting the whole of a genre equals nullifying one's own faculty of aesthetic judgement in that particular domain.
