Coruña. British retreated and fled to far away by sea left behind more than 20,000 muskets which felt in French hands. British considers it as a victory.

No,no,no Rodders you´re just mixing battles, skirmishes....and places that Wellington´s drunken anglo-Irish mob visited in their spare time :) Rest of us are trying to be honest n just mention real battles of real significance...like um,Alcañiz, Bruch,Castellon,Gerona,Rosily, San Marcial,Zaragozza,Tamames,Bailen,Valencia,Valmaseda,Villafranca,Yevenes, and many more I´ve missed out!

The British victory at San Sebastián was pyrrhic. Thanks to the Spanish (and the victory over the offensive of Soult) the exhausted Wellington's army was saved of a certain defeat.

Hahahaha! LOOOOOSEEEEEEEERRRR!!!!

LordClown... Only the 2nd Siege of Gerona (though a Spanish defeat) was more important to the final victory over Napoleon than many victories over the French. The 2nd Siege of Zaragoza also was an heroic Spanish resistance.

"La Guerra en España... esa desdichada guerra me perdió. Napoleón Bonaparte.

The victory in Ciudad Rodrigo was in great part by Miguel Ricardo de Álava. The operations of the Siege of Ciudad Rodrigo were led by Miguel de Álava (recomended by Wellington, great friend of Álava) in late 1811, gaining victory little later, in January 1812, which led to his promotion to Field Marshal.

WTF!!!!? BOOOO HOOOOO!!! What is this list? Most of these victories were Spanish victories fucking loser, with Anglo-Portuguese help of course, but Spanish victories. Tell me British victories without help, like in Walcheren Campaign hahahahahaha!!!

Battles of the Bruch, 1st Gerona, Lorca, Valdepeñas, Mallén, 1st Saragossa, Valencia, Valmaseda, French fleet at Cádiz, Bailén, Tamames, Calatayud, Castellón, Alcañiz, Samper de Calanda, Puentesampayo, Murcia, Villafranca, León, Vigo, Cádiz, Caldelas, Morrazo, Logroño, Pontevedra, La Lama, Tarragona, Valls, Figueras, La Bisbal, San Marcial..... without any help. There are many more I have missed out! And the Spanish militias? The Spanish militias killed more French soldiers than any other force in this war.

Read it and weep!

Jajajaja fucking liar. I have already explained the battle. Of course my little English friend, Zayas repelled the French columns. The Spanish did took all the credit of the victory. But seriously.... In La Albuera the British were a bunch of incompetents. You have to be honest with this. Beresford??? Beresford was saved by the Spanish divisions of Ballesteros and Lardizabal, even the incompetence of this guy provoked an episode of "friendly fire". Pathetic... Spanish victory.

In Peninsula France fought with one hand. It was simultaneous to the war against Austria(5th coalition), Walcheren, the damn invasion of Russia, 6th coalition and Liepzig. The bulk of Napoleon's forces and best troops were fighting far away.

I need a rest. Tenerife looked like hell. All kind of proyectiles fell upon us. I tried, but I wasn´t able to step in that bloody island. I can even hear those Spaniards laughing... Damn you Gutierrez!!!
