Glad for someone to demo the slowhands; I have some and I think they sound wicked on clean and their overdriven sound is better than most single coil sounds.
My only niggle is the sound quality, would you be able to record this through a proper mic at all? Other than that thanks.

Interesting... Nice interpretation but I found the shredding a little tasteless and it was a little rushed for my liking. Nice and clean though, you don't see that much.

@uknowwhatimdoin not necessarily, the majority of old recordings were recorded on single coils. Aerosmith, deep purple, metallica, Eric Johnson are all major strat users. Hendrix for gods sake!
Oh and just a little bit of trivia; stairway to heaven solo was recorded on a telecaster!

Continued from last post: and a les Paul or strat will cover most tonal ground. I would suggest a les Paul copy for a bit more versatility with distortion and clean sounds, but strat if you are mostly clean/blues/funk playing.
