"I had a serious bout with rheumatic fever when I was thirteen. I developed a terrible throat infection and my heart even stopped beating. The doctor put me in an oxygen tent. You might say it was my return to the living after several days that launched me as a singer. Patsy Cline recorded her final song, "I'll Sail My Ship Alone" on Feb. 7th 1963. Patsy would die in a plane crash 26 days later.
All of Patsy's cowgirl outfits were made by her mother Hilda.

Patsy was seven months pregnant with her second child Randy when she recorded "I Fall To Pieces" Nov. 16th 1960.
