I FINALLY made something. I have the same problem with Sherlock/John than with River/Doctor. NO SONG IS PERFECT ENOUGH FOR THEM. At first I wanted to use Echo by Jason Walker, but I didn't finish it. One day I will. I hope. But for now, have this one ;)
What can I say... THIS EPISODE KILLED ME. Their relationship, dear god, it's the most beautiful thing in the world. Really. Not only in Sherlock. It is the best relationship since 1887. It's just a miracle. An extraordinary man with an ordinary one, the friendship that should never have existed, and still, it worked. They are the perfect match. Romance, bromance, friendship, whatever, what they have is above all of this. No word can define it. I don't know how it can even exist. What is funny is that Doyle probably never meant to create it that way. Watson was just a witness of Holmes' adventures, the sidekick whose role is only to assist him and then tell the stories. His biographer. And it became so much more than this. This is a thing that will always amaze with with Sherlock Holmes, and that I've never seen about anything else. It's bigger than its creator. It just kind of exists by itself.
So, THE REICHENBACH FALL. I spent a week SUFFERING. My chest was litteraly hurting all day long, I couldn't wait to see it and at the same time I didn't want to. Because... BECAUSE REICHENBACH. The short story broke my heart. And then it happened. I watched it and I cried. The scene when they're on the phone. THIS SCENE. Their best scene. So much love. So much sadness. So much pain. The most interesting part is that Sherlock is playing a role at the beginning. He is the character we know, cold, pretending he is scared, pretending he is a fake, pretending he is broken enough to commit suicide. But then, THEN there is this glorious moment when he says "nobody could be that clever" and John says "You could" and Sherlock laughs and DEAR HOLY FUCKING MOTHER OF JESUS. That's the moment he becomes sincere. He's lying about the real reason why he is moved, but the emotion itself is REAL. It's genuine. He's hurt because everything is is has been taken from him. Everything that matters. His work. His IDENTITY. Who he is. He's nothing if he isn't this. And that's awful. AND now he also has to deal with the fact that he has to leave John behind. That he has to say goodbye to the only person he is really close to. That he has to hurt him. And John is holding on to him, saying 'no', because he trusts Sherlock, because he knows him like no-one else does. And Sherlock sees this, he sees how much he counts for John, because I'm pretty sure he never truly realized it before. And it's the moment to say goodbye. The moment to lie. IT'S SO TRAGIC. And THE TEAR. He didn't have to cry. John couldn't see the tear from where he was. It was a real tear. The one and only tear that means SO much. To me it's the ONE moment Sherlock shows how deeply he really cares about John. Because no-one is there to see it, it's just him and his feelings. And their hands. And their everything. HOOOOLY SHIT AAAAAAAH. This moment gives me so many feelings, it hurts.
Martin Freeman's and Benedict Cumberbatch's performances are FLAWLESS. HOW can they be so talented? Usually, when I watch a series, or a movie, I'm like 'wow these actors are not bad', and some times, a very few times, I completely forgot that they are actors. They are the characters. They're so talented that they make us forget they are talented. See what I mean? GIVE BENEDICT HIS FUCKING BAFTA FOR GOD'S SAKE. I am so in love with his Sherlock. Like really. I'm Molly. I'm definitely Molly.

anyway this episode oh jesus christ anbasnb;ahkdbb. it broke me, it is still breaking me haha. poor bby John!! and Sherlock...jfc, are these two killing anyone else too? ;D also how the hell did Sherlock pull of this one?! im going for Molly, im sure she had something to do with it :p but i cant wait to find out anyway! and i really cant wait for John & Sherlock to Reunite! :D

How could I resist vidding Sherlock/John after this amazing finale?
Unlike most fans, I don't ship them romantically. But there is definitely something there, something more than friendship. It's hard to define, but I'll try to explain it. I think Sherlock has never cared for someone as much as he does for John. Ever.
Sherlock does care about a few people, like Mrs Hudson, Molly and possibly Mycroft. But Watson is the one who found the secret way to his heart. It's funny how John says that Sherlock is the most human person he's ever met, because I truly believe that John made him more human.
Their friendship is a miracle because they seem so different. And that's exactly what makes the pair work: their differences. John thought that nothing ever happened to him. He needs the thrill and the adventure that Sherlock brings him. And Sherlock needs those little comments like "you're supposed apologize", "he is being ironic" to understand social life and become a better person.
Someone who doesn't know the characters probably won't understand how STRONG their bond is, just by watching this vid. Because they don't have huge PDAs. Their love shows in small things, like a subtle laughter and a few tears. Do you ever see Sherlock laugh when he's not with John? I mean a real, genuine laughter, not a god-you're-so-pathetic kind of laughter. That's why a seemingly unimportant detail like a smile is so powerful. It's rare.
It's amazing how much Sherlock has evolved since John entered his life. Before, the man would barely ever show concern/empathy for someone else, up to the point where people thought he was a dangerous psychopath. But in the finale, he was willing to risk his life to save his friend(s). I know he isn't actually dead but he did jump off a building. Even if he pulled a trick, I bet it would have been easier and less risky for him to just walk away.
And what about John? The guy never stopped believing in Sherlock. NEVER. All evidence pointed to Sherlock being a murderer. He even "admitted" it himself. As much as I hate to admit it, I'd probably have doubted him. But John didn't. Even after Sherlock's death, even when Mrs Hudson was convinced of his guilt, John's faith in his best friend was still intact.
That, my friends, is true love. :D

Storyline: So I've only watched the 11th Doctor Who episodes, but I do know the storyline quite well from all my lovely subscriptions vidding the show :) After rewatching 'The God Complex' and this year's Christmas Special I couldn't help thinking that he left Amy and Rory behind so that he didn't lose them the way he lost Rose - same with Martha and Donna. And maybe I'm wrong, but the last time the Doctor cried was when he said goodbye to Rose (?). He never wanted anyone to get that close again, because it hurt too much to lose them. But then again, how can someone spend an eternity alone? That's what I was trying to convey in the video. I know it's a little choppy in places, trying to get use to editing again since I've been off reading (which always screws with me editing abilities for a while. Strange).
PS sorry Martha isn't in here, and that Donna doesn't play a huge factor in it as well - I never really liked Martha (don't ask me why cuz I don't know!) and I only had one episode of Donna - but she does have a quote! Woohoo.
Special thanks to OViolentDarkKnightO for having the episodes and letting me steal them from her for the 10th Doctor - even though she's not here and doesn't know that. Hehe.
