Whilst this film does have a lot of comedy thrown in, there's some proper attention paid to character and story too. Oliver Reed's portrayal of Athos is incredible.

The screenplay was by George MacDonald Fraser, who wrote the Flashman novels, so, of course, there's a bit of a further pull towards...
