Strange thing I don't remember what configuration was I using in this level, I usually do. Acid guns, swarm, chrage generators or maybe even radiators. Took me a lot of time to complete, thoug. Those viruses are though as hell.

You can cleave throug this mission armed with just Acid guns. They doesn't seem like much, but have awesome firepower in early levels.

When I was fighting the rat boss, I bought a charge generator and when I got to him, I flew into the pipe near the red light, under the boss. There was a solid obstacle between me and him, so I could shoot him with my charge generator, while he couldn't harm me no matter what. I was playing on Ha...

The boss is a cakewalk if you get a fully upgraded Mine deployer, nothing else is needed. Beer level, and even the cube at the end are quite beatable with acid gun or acid gun/swarm combination, I don't remember.

Charge generators are best used in this level. If you have at least two, fully upgraded, you can squish just about anything there, even on Hard.

The Circulus really helps here, the green shit almost can't hit you. It's so large that it almost always gets hit by one of those circulus things around you. It doesn't need to bother you on Easy, but on Hard, you won't get past 5:00 without circulus.

"Radiator" guns are the best for this level, and any open-space level in general. You can take out multiple enemies at once and Radiators often shoot enemy missiles in flight, protecting you.

If you manage to aggro all the zombies in the tunnel leading down from the turning platform and get back past them(requiers a bit of skill and luck), you can blow many of them at once with just one dynamite or two, so that you don't waste ammo.
