Loca Torre began as an online, collaborative media work as part of the Canadian Music Centre's "New Music in New Places Project", this iteration culminating March 20, 2010. The Vernal Equinox broadcast was a four-hour telematic improvisation with members of the Mannlicher Carcano Radio Hour. The event was broadcast on cfru.ca, with collaborators based in Guelph, Winnipeg, Montreal, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Bratislava, and elsewhere.
