I am a nice person...and a good nurse....I really love my job and put way over 100% into it...I work very hard in a long term care setting and sometimes I feel like it is Heaven's waiting room..and it is the nicest waiting room you could ever ask for....I care very much for my extended family....you can see my place of work by watching my video Nursing Home Kids....I love Goodwills, Thrift shops, Salvation Armies, and Volunteer's of America....I have a very good friend who has 6 Kids from 2 different litters...ages, 20, 18, 16, 12, 08,06. I am lucky to be able to have a room at his house that he used to share with my daughter. I have my own living quarters in the house. And he has his own space. It works out very well. Fortuanately we have the same interests so this arrangement is very pleasant. The Kids call me Gramma and they love it when I bake..I collect cookbooks, and read them like a Novel....I started riding my bike to work and the kids think it is hilarious...My friend bought me a horn, a lock and a basket..all I need is TOTO....Well Dorothy, this definately isn't Kansas...but it is just as wonderful as OZ...AS OF THE FIRST OF SEPTEMBER I HAVE TOTO..My friend surprised me with a basket with TOTO and his Blue Ribbon around his neck on my Bike one morning...It was a joy to ride to work knowing TOTO was with me..The Wizard of Oz was always and will always be my favorite movie. Back in the 50's
when I first saw the movie on T.V. I was sitting on the floor in front of the couch, with my sister Julie. When the Bad Witch came on the set because Dorothy's house landed on her sister I was so scared and I remember jumping up and landing on my Dad's lap. He told me I had nothing to be afraid of because he was there..and guess what everytime I needed my Dad he was there and still is. Just a little blast from my past..
