Every argument about creationism fails at it's very core. You believe that it is impossible for anything to exist without there first being a creator correct? So then tell us, who or what created your creator? For it is impossible for it to exist since "everything must have a creator." Or are you willing to simply break your own logic in an attempt to justify it by saying that your god doesn't need a creator..

If I were to tell you that the universe was created by a cosmic purple pig from the 5th dimension and showed you a book explaining why this was true, would you believe it? I'm guessing your answer would be no. It simply doesn't meet a reasonable level of credibility based on the evidence and logic right? So why not put your own religion and beliefs to the same level of scrutiny? Trust me you will come out wiser in the end..

Philosophy is good. Blindly adhering to a religion not supported by any evidence just because somebody told you its true is not. If you believe in god then I assume you want to learn as much about god as you can. Reading the bible, which has been proven to be fiction many times over, is not the way. The only reason you are a Christian is because you were born into a society that practices it. If you were born in India, you would be Hindu. If you were born in Iran, you would be a Muslim, If you were born in Burma, you would be a Buddhist. If you were born in Isreal, you would be a Jew. If you were born in N. Korea, you would believe Kim Jong-Un is your god.. It amazes me that some people can still be so utterly clueless about reality in this day and age...

Science isn't trying to attack your believe in god. It's just in the pursuit of truth we have found the assumptions of religions texts to be false. The reason you believe as you do is because you are scientifically illiterate. The evidence is there, you simply choose not to look at it or make an effort to understand it. In a lot of cases it's because some people are lazy. In others it's because people are scared of mortality and simply can't cope with life knowing there will be an end someday.

I don't understand why so many "believers" lose their heads when somebody points out on of the absurdities of Christianity. Scientist are not trying to attack your belief in god. Its just that in pursuit of truth, they are finding evidence that proves many religious assumptions false. Its not that they have something against you, its that they want to find the truth through empirical study rather than believe something without evidence.
