About Living with ADHD by Janssen-Cilag Ltd
This YouTube channel has been developed to explore what it's like to live with ADHD -- and to tackle some of the most common issues surrounding the condition. Over time, it will host a variety of interesting and educational films, featuring doctors, patients, parents and teachers.
At the moment, it is estimated that only about 25% of children with ADHD in the UK get diagnosed. That leaves about 300,000 families struggling to manage its affects alone. Many of those children may find it difficult to cope at school -- often getting branded as troublemakers -- while their parents can be made to feel like failures.
It doesn't have to be this way. The evidence about ADHD is clear. It is a real and in many cases treatable condition.
