With single midpipe exhausts it is common for the exhaust tips to turn color. Long tube headers do this too ( if t-304 ), t-304 just doesn't take heat very well and needs continuously polished to keep it clean fine shape. Never happened to my last 2 trucks due to true duals, exhaust is a lot cooloer running with dual pipes.

Nice man. So it is basically has no muffler, a decent sound for the 4 cat trucks. I'm getting ready to do my exhaust for the '07. Magnaflow Y pipe 2.5" dual to 3" single, 3" midpipe, Magnaflow Magnapack muffler, another Y pipe and 2.5" tails with 4"x18" tips.

The dealer gave me $10,500 with it being a 4wd Supercab XLT with 108k miles, but took $500 off after I put the OEM wheels/tires on and kept my black XDs.
