About Me:
My name is Kayla. I am fourteen years old and live in Michigan. My favorite color is Hot Pink. I love photography and reading. I hope to one day become a photographer. I am in love with cross country and jumping. No matter how hard I try to stay from it, or people tell me its dangerous, that i'm no good, that my horses can't jump, i just cant stay away from it. I currently have two horses.
~Ginger aka Spice It Up. I bought ginger on May 3, 2009. She is a 10 year old Quarter Horse and Paint cross. She is 14.3hh and a Chesnut with 3 socks and a blaze. She has many nicknames like Ginny, Gin Bin, and the Indian Pony. She means the world to me. She is literally my life, and the only reson I keep going. She does Gymkhana, Barrel Racing, Trail Riding, English Pleasure, and a little Jumping. We've also been working on some Natural Horsemanship.
~Dutchess aka Angel In Disguise. We bought Dutchess in August of 2009. She in an angel and tolerates anything you do to her. She was extremely neglected and under weight when we got her. But with a good diet, she is now fat and happy. She is a 15 year old Thoroughbred. She stands at 16.2hh and is a dapple bay. She does Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Trail Riding, Dressage, and Jumping (she is jumping up to 3'6" currently). She also loves a good race once in a while :)
~Page Avenue Joe a.k.a. Joe. Given to me in December 2010. Was previously a harness racer. Standardbred Gelding. 16.2HH. 10 years old. Bay with Star. Broke in for the previous owner last summer, and hope to finish his training this spring. He does Harness Racing, Driving, and Western Pleasure.

Q: Why do you ride bareback so often?
A: Simple. I do not like saddles, even though I have five. When I ride bareback, I get a much better feel for the horse, and it helps me get in rythm with them. Plus i'm lazy, and putting on a saddle is a lot of work. Lol
Q: What kind of cammera do you use?
A: I currently use both a Nikon CoolPix L110 & a Canon Rebel XS
