About LiveDulcimerhead
Dulcimerhead is comprised of Dave Rankine (Mountain Dulcimer) and Fernando Villalobos (percussion) and Daniela Godina (vocals).
A willingness to experiment and improvise has brought these three musicians together to create a sound like no other - a pure fusion of rock, folk, indo-persian dance metal and jazz.
Daniela joined Dave and Fernando immediately after opening for them at their 2009 Dark Mandala CD launch.
Each member of Dulcimerhead has brought their own influences into the mix.
"Innovative and progressive" are words that are often used to describe Dulcimerhead's fusion of folk, medieval, indo-Persian, rock, trance, metal and jazz. Audiences are treated to beautifully improvised numbers and soul-stirring performances.
