In the summer of 2007, Hassam, belonging to an artiste family of actors and directors in the Indo-Pak film industry, gave up being the vocalist of Black Addicts, an underground goth rock band, to take a shot at the mainstream. Khurram, on the other hand, trying to make his mark in the mainstream for quiet a bit. First as a solo artist In both KSA and Pakistan and than in a duo named Versez,. Hassam met Khurram and on a music producer's advice the two came together to form the band DEPTH. The two wanted to bring together a fusion of urdu and english in the form of quality music at the same time catering
both local and international audiences. They came out with their first music video 'Mujhe yaad hai'. After two years of hard work, they are ready with their debut album 'Graveyard Queen'
