About Mandy Hunt
My name is Mandy Hunt. I am 24-years-old and I live in Austin, Texas. I have been singing as long as I can remember and it has always been a dream of mine to share my voice with other people. I sing mostly country music and musical theater. As far as singing goes, I've competed in several large singing contests to date. I sang the National Anthem at Tiger's Stadium when I was 11 and competed in the Colgate Country Showdown, I was the runner up in WDIV's televised Super Singer contest held during the Detroit Fireworks in 2008. I also won WXYZ's "Cruisin' Idol" contest in 2008 as well. My musical theater resume includes Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, The Narrator in Joseph, The Leading Player in Pippin, Ariel in Footloose, and Nimue in Camelot to name a few. I am currently the lead singer of an 80's dance cover band called The Crush. We play in the Austin area, so be sure to check us out.
