I think the thing with me is that I've seen so many happy fluffy anime characters, that seeing a character who is kinda an unrepentant ass is refreshing. Also, I love dark and psychological stuff. ;)
Also, I think the fact that Ciel seems to be finding more happiness recently is just setting the scene for future tragedy, since it might force him to regret his decision to give up his life and soul for revenge. Sorry to say, I do not think this manga is going to have a happy end.
And Lizzie annoys me too, but she gets alot more bearable in recent chapters, especially now that she's realized something's wrong with Ciel.

I just don't like the way his eyes are drawn *shrugs* Although I love the pentagram thing in his right eye. ;)
I like his personality because he seems to have alot of depth. He went through this terrible ordeal and now he's trying to be an adult in order to avenge his family even though he's still just a little kid. His personality change is very realistic, which is refeshing. I wouldn't like him in real life(I'd probably end up punching him) but as a character I love him :)
