About Me:
Country:
Canada
Occupation:
Writer
Interests:
I love the outdoors, particularly hunting and woodsmanship.
Movies:
My favorite movies of all time are the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth; I believe Jennifer Ehle, playing Elizabeth Bennet, is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. My other favorite movie is A Streetcar Named Desire with Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh.
Music:
My favorite groups have always been The Doors and Black Sabbath. I very much like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I am also deeply moved by Donna Summer and of late have really begun to appreciate Indian music, particularly anything associated with Aishwarya Rai, and other world music, specifically Arab music and Russian music.
Books:
My favorite book of all time is Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky: I love all his writing, though I am more attuned to Christopher Hitchens in world view; and I love other great Russian writers, including, of course, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, Nicholai Gogol; and the gorgeous, heart-wrenching poetry of Alexander Pushkin.

Leo Tolstoy, the great Russian writer, said great Art does not affect the perceiver, it "infects" the perceiver.
