This channel is mainly dedicated to the music of James ("Jimmy") Griffin, who was a member of the group Bread from 1968-1977. James wrote and sang lead vocals on half of the music produced by Bread, yet his music was largely unknown for the duration of the group's history, except by those who owned the albums. Jimmy was a phenomenal songwriter/vocalist who lived in the shadow of David Gates, even though he was equally talented and vocally superior.

Shame on all of those who were involved in making the decision to keep Jimmy's music hidden from the airwaves and relegate his talent to album filler for David Gates showpieces.

Many thanks to Robb Royer for continuing his long-term writing partnership with Jimmy and for creating so many masterpieces with him. Rest in peace Jimmy Griffin. You will never be forgotten.
