My passion is designing and creating amazing cakes, I absolutely love it!

To start with, in 1991, I was inspired by my wedding cake to take class decorating classes. This lead to making cakes for any and every occasion I could think of - I'd caught the bug! For a few years, cakes were just a hobby but in 1997 I was asked to write my first cake decorating article and the rest as they say is history. I now have eight published books, covering many aspects of sugarcraft, two instructional cake dvds and I run a company called Lindys Cakes - life is never dull!

For many years the company supplied top end wedding cakes, but constant deadlines took there toll, so I branched out into teaching and expanding the online shop this has allowed me more time to be creative with cakes and to meet and inspire fellow cake enthusiasts - what a fantastic way to earn a living!
