Leaving

Mentally discharged,
Memories enlarged.
Something is fading,
I'm slowing awaiting.
Trying to re-gift,
all that you gave me.
There is one thing I kept
and saved.
Deep in my heart,
It used to shine.
Now it is dimming like and old dime.
Something I cherished for quite sometime.
Slowly going away,
I say goodbye.

I'm feeling nothing at the moment but I know it's there. It's funny how many times I compared, me and her and you to me. What you feel is what you see, and the one thing on your minds not me. The hurts deep inside, it's like i'm getting buried alive. I try to sleep without thinking about you but my guard lets down and I dream about you. We were best friends, we were friends. They say all good things come to an end. Another year, another time, you're going through my mind. Every once of fluid came from my eyes.
I ran in the rain to a parking lot. I swallowed the pain and forgot. I tried to fight it, but it won. So I hide it saying I'm done. I'm indescribable, lost, and heartbroken. Every word to say is left unspoken. God will be there when I need him.
