Hi and welcome to my channel!

My name is Linda and I have to confess....(taking a big, deep breath) I am a closet composer.
There, I said it. I've been in the closet now for almost 15 long years. It's been so hard.
I first came out to my family. They were pretty shocked and speechless, but I think they realize how important it is to support the ones you love no matter what.
Next, I told a few of my friends who, I was pretty sure wouldn't laugh, ridicule or belittle my endeavors. It took a lot of intestinal fortitude, but the news was accepted by them without much fanfare and I was pleasantly surprised and encouraged. An now the whole world will know... I AM A CLOSET COMPOSER!!!!!!
(not a very good one, but none the less, I AM ONE!) WOW! That felt really good!
I do have a passion for love, music, laughter and life!

I took piano lessons for many years when I was growing up. I never practiced.
I probably could be playing the piano like Sergei Rachmaninoff, but I really hated to practice.
My parents had to threaten me with various tortures to motivate me to practice and you know what I would do? I would play the stuff I already pretty much knew how to play and they never caught on that I wasn't practicing my lesson.
I don't think my piano teacher caught on either. She was like going on 90 and I was a good sight reader. She used to count the beats and her saliva would spray on my hands. Ewwwwwwwww....TMI but it happened. I swear.

I am a female Yanni-Michael Nyman-Philip Glass-wanna-be.
Boy, that's a mouthful!
And, yes, it is an unrecognized, well-known psychological disorder that many musicians have. There is no cure.
I've haven't had any formal music composition theory. Just listen to a few of my songs and you can tell.
And I ain't no professional pie-an-er player, either. I just like to create songs that sound good to me... are fun to play... and move me emotionally or digestively. (I just made that word up)

I am also a wedding minister and love doing I Dos for everyone and anyone (regardless of age, race, hair style or color, sex, shoe size, blood type, weight, political persuasion, dietary habits, education, personal hygiene, prior criminal convictions, allergies or diseases, You Tubers, or Non-You Tubers).
Really! I mean, who am I to judge?
I'm just a 52 yr. old grandmother who just fell in love with Adam Lambert on American Idol.

I am also the wedding minister for The Urbana Swedenborgian Church - best little church with front doors that are wide open to everyone!
