Hi, I am Linda Adams, a singer/songwriter, pianist, award-winning novelist & poet, an imperfect girl in an imperfect world. Dreamer of peace, animal lover, friend, wife, mother, Christian (Mormon) member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I talk to trees, am fluent in Whale, Dog, Laughter, and Sarcasm, carry spiders back outside, and talking politics or sports puts me straight to sleep.
My 3.5 octave range vocals are called either bright or "bluesy, smoky and sultry," and most often compared to Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Joni Mitchell, or Sarah Brightman & Susan Boyle - depends on genre.
I like to collaborate with other musicians, especially as production is not my strong suit ...and nobody told me I was only supposed to use three or four chords when I write. :)
I drool over guitars I can't play, so am always looking for guitarists to connect with.
May what I write, sing, or share here move you in positive ways.
Enjoy your visit! Let's be friends. :)
